Outer Hebrides (Harris & Lewis)
The plan for this trip is to base ourselves at Horgabost campsite on Harris and run a series of day trips exploring this amazing kayaking location.
This is a sea kayakers paradise and we will keep our daily trip plan flexible to make the most of the prevailing weather and group ability.
This trip would be appropriate for returning clients or those with previous kayaking experience.
Aberdeenshire, North Coast
The plan for this weekend is to run 2 day trips exploring Aberdeenshires northern coastline. This area has some great sections for sea kayaking and we will leave our daily plan flexible to allow us to choose the best locations to make the most of the prevailing weather.
This area is rich in marine and bird life and weather permitting we would hope to explore Troup Head, home to a large mainland Gannet colony.
Dolphin Spotting (Moray Coast)
The plan for this weekend is to run 2 day trips on the Moray Firth. This area is rich in wildlife, and if lucky we may get a sighting of the resident dolphin population which are regularly spotted off Chanonry point.
As well as looking out for wildlife, we also intend introducing kayaking skills throughout the weekend, so this would be an ideal course for anyone looking for an introduction to sea kayaking.
Summer Isles
This is an excellent location for sea kayaking and we plan to make this trip a 3 day camping expedition starting from Achiltibuie on the Saturday morning.
The Summer Isles offers us a beautiful archipelago with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, white sandy beaches and remote coastlines for us to explore.
We will keep our daily paddling plan flexible to allow us to make the most of the prevailing weather
