Summer Isles
This is an excellent location for sea kayaking and we plan to make this trip a 3 day expedition starting from Achiltibuie on the Friday morning.
Weather permitting we will make our way across to the Islands of Tanera Mor and Tanera Beg for our first nights camp, then spend the next day exploring the Islands before heading for Isle Ristol for our second campsite. From here we have various choices for our return paddle to Achiltibuie.

This is another opportunity for exploring the Summer Isles in July. We plan to make this trip a 3 day expedition starting from Achiltibue on the Saturday morning.
Weather permitting we will make our way across to the Islands of Tanera Mor and Tanera Beg for our first nights camp, then spend the next day exploring the Islands before heading for Isle Ristol for our second campsite. From here we have various choices for our return paddle to Achiltibuie.
Plockton Area
The plan for this weekend is to base ourselves in Plockton and run 2 day trips exploring the coastline and islands of the Inner Sound.
Not only is this area rich in wildlife, it is also surrounded by stunning scenery with the ruggedness of the Applecross peninsula and the Isle of Skye providing a spectacular backdrop.
Plockton is a lovely conservation village and it is a great location for some post paddling refreshments and a tasty meal.
Sound of Arisaig
The Sound of Arisaig is a great location for exploring by sea kayak, it is a marine Special Area of Conservation (mSAC) and is rich in marine wildlife. This trip will be camping based as this gives us the greatest opportunity to explore the area.
Our plan is to meet up in Glenuig on the Saturday morning, this is a good starting point for our trip, as it allows us plenty of options to make the most of the prevailing weather forecast.
Kayak Skills Course (Speyside)
This course will be based in the Spey Valley, and the plan is to spend day 1 on Loch Morlich introducing kayaking skills.
We will then run the following day on the Moray Firth. This is a great area for sea kayaking, and there is always the possibility to see the resident dolphin population, which regularly spends time off chanonry point.
