Small Isles
The plan for this trip is to explore the Islands that make up the Small Isles.
Wether permitting we will meet up in Arisaig and make the crossing to Eigg, if the weather is inappropriate for the crossing we will use the ferry to get across and spend the following days exploring this great kayaking venue
This trip is intended for returning clients or those with previous sea kayaking experience.
Dolphin Spotting (Moray Coast)
The plan for this weekend is to run 2 day trips on the Moray Firth. This area is rich in wildlife, and if lucky we may get a sighting of the resident dolphin population which are regularly spotted off Chanonry point.
As well as looking out for wildlife, we also intend introducing kayaking skills throughout the weekend, so this would be an ideal course for anyone looking for an introduction to sea kayaking.
Sound of Arisaig
The Sound of Arisaig is a great location for exploring by sea kayak, it is a marine Special Area of Conservation (mSAC) and is rich in marine wildlife. This trip will be camping based as this gives us the greatest opportunity to explore the area.
Our plan is to meet up in Glenuig on the Saturday morning, this is a good starting point for our trip, as it allows us plenty of options to make the most of the prevailing weather forecast.
Raasay & Rona
The plan for this trip is to make a journey round the Islands of Raasay and Rona. These islands nestled in the Inner Sound between Skye and the Applecross Peninsula are great for exploring by sea kayak.
This will be a camping based trip as this gives us the most flexibility to plan our overnight stops to make the most of the prevailing weather.
This area has a great remote feel to it and is also rich in wildlife.
