Introduction to Sea kayaking
(Speyside)
This weekend will be based in the Spey Valley, and the plan is to spend day 1 on Loch Morlich introducing kayaking skills.
We will then run the following day on the Moray coast. This is a great area for sea kayaking, and there is always the possibility to see the resident dolphin population which regularly spends time off chanonry point.
Dolphin Spotting (Moray Coast)
The plan for this weekend is to run 2 day trips on the Moray Firth. This area is rich in wildlife, and if lucky we may get a sighting of the resident dolphin population which are regularly spotted off Chanonry point.
As well as looking out for wildlife, we also intend introducing kayaking skills throughout the weekend, so this would be an ideal course for anyone looking for an introduction to sea kayaking.
Plockton Area
The plan for this weekend is to base ourselves in Plockton and spend the 2 days exploring the coastline and Islands of the Inner Sound. Plockton is a beautiful conservation village and is a great location for kayak trips.
The area is rich in wildlife and stunning scenery with the Isle of Skye providing a spectacular backdrop, we also have the ruggedness of the Applecross Peninsula close by.
